Hyderabad: Speeding car mows down pedestrian

Hyderabad: A man aged about 65-70 was killed in a hit and run case under Rajendranagar police station limits on Friday night. The incident took place in front a wine shop at Attapur in Rajendranagar. 

"The man, identified as Mahima Dalli, seemed to be inebriated and was crossing the road when an unknown vehicle, being driven in rash and negligent manner, mowed him down and fled the scene. With the help of locals, the body was shifted to Osmania Hospital morgue for post-mortem examination. Based on a complaint received from the man’s son, Rajendranagar police booked a case of causing death through negligence against the absconding driver.
