Woman killed for dowry in Uttar Pradesh: Police

Muzaffarnagar: A 32-year-old woman was allegedly killed by her in-laws for failing to meet their demand for dowry in Muzaffarnagar district, police said on Monday.

Anita was poisoned last evening in Sautu village under Bhora Kalan police station, they said.

Police registered a case against five people, including Anita's husband, who is on the run. Anita's in-laws have disputed the charge, saying she committed suicide.
