2 in dock for posting fake logos of TSRTC

 Hyderabad: City police on Thursday registered criminal cases against former TS digital media wing head Kontham Dileep and Harish Reddy for circulating false logos with wrong abbreviations of TSRTC and posting abusive comments on social media platforms.

We received a complaint Wednesday from Achuri Sridhar, chief traffic manager, M&C business, stating that he saw a post on the X (former Twitter) handles of Kontham Dileep and Harish Reddy with TSRTC logo that was not officially released-- revising the official abbreviation from TSRTC (Telangana State Road Transport Corporation) to TGSRTC, Lonavath Mounika, sub inspector of Chiklkadpally, said.

Both individuals intentionally created a fake logo. Harish Reddy also posted an abusive video using unparliamentary language damaging the reputation of the corporation and the state government, the complaint said.

Sridhar has sought stringent action against the accused including registration of a case for creating and circulating false logos regarding Telangana RTC, police said.

A separate complaint was also lodged by TGSRTC officials for creating fake logos and spreading htem on social media. A case (188/2024) was registered against Konatham Dileep and Harish Reddy.
