Bengaluru: A complaint has been registered against Sandalwood actor Pooja Gandhi and her political friend Anil P. Mensinkai for not paying the dues to a five star hotel where they stayed along with their crew.

The manager of The Lalit Ashok Hotel Bengaluru has filed a complaint with the High Grounds police, saying the actor and the politician have not cleared the bills for their stay between April 2016 and March 2017.

According to the complaint, Ms Gandhi and Mr Mensinkai along with their crew stayed at the hotel and availed all services after due discussions with the hotel management for which the hotel had charged Rs 26.22 lakh. Between April 2016 and December 2018, Ms Gandhi and Mr Mensinkai paid Rs 22,83,129 on various occasions.

But the duo started ignoring calls of the hotel staff when they kept asking to settle the remaining amount of Rs 3,53,040. The complainant further wrote that the hotel did not bother Ms Gandhi much thinking she was busy shooting.

But they realised that she and Mr Mensinkai were intentionally delaying the payments, following which the complaint was filed.
