Hyderabad: Two men missing for over five days found dead

The police has registered a case under Section 174 (suspicious death) of CrPC and took up an investigation.

HYDERABAD: Mystery shrouds the death of two men who have been missing for the last five days from Sangareddy district. Mohd Moizeuddin, 20, and Md Ismail alias Saddam, 26, left their village on July 14 at about 11 am and came to Zaheerabad for getting a television repaired at a shop in town.

“After handing over the television at the shop, the duo went around the town for some time. However, for some reason, they did not return to their native place. Their mobile phones are also switched off. Later, the family members lodged a missing complaint at the local police station,” said DSP Zaheerabad, N. Ravi.
On Thursday morning, a few passerby’s sensed a foul smell emanating from a well belonging to one Naveen and alerted the police. 

The police reached the spot and fished out the two decomposed bodies with the help of experts and sent it for postmortem examination. “It is unclear how they died and we are trying to figure out how they died. The mobile phone data records of both phones are being analysed to get clues,” said the official. The police has registered a case under Section 174 (suspicious death) of CrPC and took up an investigation.  The police also said that no liquor bottles was found at the scene.
