Medchal kid's kidnapping case ends

Hyderabad: The kidnap mystery of a 14-year-old boy in Medchal came to an end after he was found safe late in the evening. On Saturday morning, the boy Y. Manidhar, was kidnapped by some persons, who demanded a ransom of Rs 10 lakh from his parents. Y. Manidher is the son of Y. Girbabu, a Gulf returnee. On Saturday morning, while he was on way to school on his bicycle, the kidnappers who came in a car, intercepted him near Kistapur canal in Medchal and took him away. They called his father demanding Rs 10 lakh as ransom and threatened to kill the child if he failed to pay.

Police registered a kidnap case and deputed 10 teams to trace the boy. As the police was trying to trace the kidnappers they received information from the villagers of Pudur that they have found a boy near a crusher. Police rushed to the spot and rescued the child.
