Hyderabad: Man lands in jail for ruckus

Hyderabad: Family members who fought among themselves and created a nuisance in a public place were punished by the court. One of them was sent to jail for five days.
A Habeebnagar police official said the court sent Mohd Akbar, 20, a resident of Janani Gate, Nampally. to jail. On Saturday, he came home drunk and started pelting stones on passersby in front of their house.
His parents Mohd Gaffar and mother Haji Bee joined Akbar in abusing the crowed. The police was soon called in.
Habeebnagar inspe-ctor P. Shiva Chandra said, “The father and son duo has a criminal history. Akbar was involved in a number of thefts and other cases and was booked under the PD Act. Gaffar has a criminal history and was involved in the attack on the police station recently.
Habeebnagar police personnel P. Ven-kateswarlu, M.A. Na-yeem and S. Papaiah tried to stop them but were abused.
After a lot of struggle the cops succeeded in taking them into custody and brought them to the police station.
The Habeebnagar police booked them and secured their conviction.
