Delhi: Youth stabbed to death, attackers flee leaving knife in chest
Naresh used to work with a private firm. He had some dispute with the youths in his neighbourhood.
New Delhi: A 24-year-old youth was stabbed to death near his house in Ambedkar Nagar area of south east Delhi on Wednesday by 2-3 youths, who fled leaving the knife plunged in the victim's chest, police said.
The incident took place around 4.30 pm when Naresh, who used to live with his family at K Block of Dakshinpuri in Ambedkar Nagar, was outside his home. He was attacked and stabbed by the attackers.
Naresh used to work with a private firm. He had some dispute with the youths in his neighbourhood, who stabbed him twice and left the knife plunged in his chest, said a police officer.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he died during the treatment, he said.
The police officer said the attackers have been identified and will be arrested soon.
He said investigation is underway and the motive behind the murder will be revealed after arrest of the accused.
