Hyderabad: An early morning fire broke out at a ladies emporium within the Palika Bazar shopping complex in Secunderabad. Swift response from the Secunderabad Fire Department, with two fire tenders, including a multi-purpose Tender, prevented casualties.
Fortunately, the incident occurred before regular business hours, ensuring the emporium was unoccupied. Nevertheless, extensive damage was reported by fire officials due to the fire.
Around 8:40 a.m., passers-by noticed smoke emerging from the emporium, prompting them to alert local fire and police authorities. Thick smoke enveloped the area swiftly.
The fire's initial source was the packaging material, specifically gunny bags, which accelerated the blaze. Firefighters successfully contained the fire within an hour. An investigation into the exact cause is underway.
