16 Bangladeshi nationals held by Jagtial police

Locals noticed the group in their village, got suspicious and informed the police

Jagtial district police on Monday held 16 Bangladeshi nationals in Thandriyala village of Kathalapur mandal within Jagtial district.

WARANGAL:  Jagtial district police on Monday held 16 Bangladeshi nationals in Thandriyala village of Kathalapur mandal within Jagtial district.

Locals noticed the group in their village, got suspicious and informed the police. Police arrived and made inquiries. They learnt that they are daily-wage labourers who have come from Bangladesh for work.

Police said due to the language barrier between locals and Bangladeshi nationals, there had been a communication gap. They checked the identity cards of all the Bangladeshis.

After taking their details, police released the Bangladeshi nationals, as they did not find anything suspicious about them.
