Hyderabad: Man held for offensive muscle display
Police said that whenever the woman came out of her house, the man used to display his body and make offensive signs.
Hyderabad: A man was arrested for displaying his muscles offensively at a woman in his neighbourhood. Police said that whenever the woman came out of her house, G. Janardhan Reddy used to display his body and make offensive signs.
Janardhan started the Ryan Coaching Centre in Bandlaguda four months ago, and was training students for the Navodaya Sainik School entrance tests. As he was training students he had a well-built body.
But trouble started for women in his neighbourhood after he started displaying his muscles and topless body. They ignored him, but when his activities became offensive a 40-year-old housewife complained.
“He used to flash his body whenever women came out. He also used to stare and flash offensive signs,” LB Nagar inspector P. Kasi Reddy said. Police booked a case under Section 354-C and arrested Janardhan Reddy. He was remanded to custody.
