Hyderabad: The Cyberabad Special Operation Team (SOT) raided several massage parlours and spas in Madhapur and booked around 30 female masseurs and eight males. The police caught several female masseurs red-handed while they were servicing male customers.

Among those arrested were several girls from Thailand who were working in the massage parlours in and around Hitech City. Cases were booked against the massage parlour owners for alleged illegal activities.

After receiving reports of illegal activities going on at massage parlours in the city, police raided massage parlours in Gachibowli, Madhapur, Raidurgam and the surrounding areas on Saturday night.

Police said the parlours allowed cross gender massage which is illegal. As per the law, only male masseurs can attend male customers and females for women.

The Thailand girls, who were brought on visiting visa by the operators, are a special attraction for male customers. “We have booked 32 women and seven males. We would be sending them to court and shifting the women to protection homes,” Madhapur police said. The spas raided in Madhapur are Tanta, Aura, Sapta, Trendz Rivera, Blizz and Moh.
