Madhavi, Manoharachary's daughter who tried to stop her father raised her hand and got hurt on her arm.
Hyderabad: The man who kicked Manoharachary, the sickle-wielding attacker on a busy road, was a mere commuter who happened to cross the place. Mohd Razzak, who was crossing the place during the attack on Wednesday evening stopped his bike and jumped on the attacker with a kick but in vain, as it did not stop him. The eyewitnesses from the area said that Chary was threatening the people gathered around by wildly swinging the sickle in the air.
“It all happened within minutes right in front of our eyes and nothing made sense for a while to any of us here,” said Mallikarjuna, a valet parking boy working with Hyundai showroom, in front of which the whole incident occurred.
“We saw the couple on the scooter being attacked by the man, now identified as Manoharachary and soon after first attack, Sandeep ran away inside the Honda showroom nearby. Madhavi, Manoharachary’s daughter who tried to stop her father raised her hand and got hurt on her arm. He attacked her twice with a sickle he carried in his bag. He again attacked her on her face and on the other hand too.” said an eye witness.
The man who kicked Manoharachary, Mohd Razzak, was heading towards Kukatpally on his bike when he saw the attack said, “I did not know what the issue was. I noticed the man with a sickle hitting a lady and stopped my bike to a side. What I did was impulsive as I wanted him to get away from the woman.”
