Dorigallu: Group Clash Near Ganesh Pandal Claims Life

Anantapur: A man was killed in a clash between two groups near a Ganesh pandal in Dorigallu village, Mudigubba mandal, Satya Sai district on Wednesday.

The man, Anantaiah, of Dorigallu, died after suffering serious injuries in the attack. Several others were also injured in the clash.

Sources said the tension began when a person driving a motorcycle recklessly

passed near the Ganesh pandal. The two groups clashed with sticks and stones, and Anantaiah was killed in the melee.

Inspector Yatheendra said the injured were shifted to Kadiri hospital and a police picket was posted at Dorigallu to avoid further violence.
