IIIT student dies by suicide in Kadapa district

Anantapur: A third-year engineering student at the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) in Idupulapaya, Kadapa district, died by suicide on Tuesday.

The student, Gangaram, was from Pulivendula. He was found dead in his hostel room.

The institute authorities informed the Idupulapaya police and the student's parents. A case has been registered based on a complaint by the parents.

Gangaram's body has been shifted to the Vempalli government hospital for post-mortem. Police are investigating the case.
