Agri officer, sub-registrar in ACB net

HYDERABAD: ACB sleuths arrested Bhongir mandal agricultural officer for accepting a Rs 1 lakh bribe and registered disproportionate assets cases against the Malkajgiri sub-registrar for amassing illegal assets. Both of them were arrested and shifted to judicial remand.

In the first case, the ACB registered a DA case against Malkajgiri sub-registrar Chilakaraju Palani Kumari for misusing her powers and indulging in corruption. In another case, Aderla Venkateswar Reddy, Bhongir mandal agriculture officer was caught red-handed while accepting a Rs 1 lakh bribe.
