Hyderabad: 7-year-old scalded by hot water dies

After battling life for two days, a seven-year-old girl died.

Hyderabad: After battling life for two days, a seven-year-old girl died on Monday when a vessel of boiling water fell on her. According to the police, the victim was identified as Jumani Garodia, a resident of Musheerabad, a daughter of daily wage workers.

On Saturday, Jumani went with her parents to a marriage function in Musheerabad where her parents were working as domestic helpers.

While the girls parents were busy working, a big utensil brimming with boiling water fell on her accidentally leaving her 50 per cent of the body burnt.
Jumani was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where she succumbed to her injuries on Monday.
