Thiruvananthapuram: CBSE Thiruvananthapuram regional office on Wednesday clarified that the decision St Thomas Central School, Mukkolakkal, dismissing two kids for hugging in public would be in the interest of students. However, the CBSE regional officer Dinesh Ram did not give a direct answer to the question whether they would be allowed to write the exam. Mr Ram said whatever decision the CBSE takes would not harm the students. “The decision will be student-friendly, and they would not lose their academic year. There is nothing for them to worry about,” he told DC.
