Nellore: Politicos blamed for suicide

Nellore: The death of a resident of Bazaar Street in Puttur of Chittoor district has generated a lot of interest in the social media. His death that happened about a week earlier has been declared a suicide allegedly committed because of financial troubles. The victim, identified as Madan Kumar, was running a mobile shop in Puttur. In a selfie video, which is doing rounds in the social media, he alleged that several people including a TD leader and a doctor, borrowed nearly Rs 80 lakh from him but had failed to repay the amount in time.

Though the video has been in circulation for the last three days, no one from his family approached police. When contacted, Puttur Circle Inspector D. Kondaiah said they have not received any complaint on the issue from anyone so far.
