VISAKHAPATNAM: A couple (a married man and an unmarried woman) committed suicide by hanging from a tree in a cashewnut garden near Gudilova area under Anandapuram police station limits in Vizag city. Though the couple took the extreme step a few days back, it came to light only on Wednesday when the locals found the semi-decomposed bodies of the couple and alerted the police.

The deceased were identified as Y. Ramanaji alias Haribabu, 32 and B, Revathi, 28, both were natives of Kovvuru area under Rolugunta mandal in Vizag district. They were employees with two different private firms. The police  found a Bajaj Pulsar bike and four mobiles phones at the spot but no suicide note. Inspector of Anandapuram Police Station, R.
