Nine people arrested for Bhainsa murders

The accused were absconding after committing the crime that took place on May 10.

Adilabad: The Bhainsa police on Saturday arrested nine accused persons including an elderly woman for the murder of five persons over a property dispute between relatives that took place recently in Bhainsa town.

While producing the nine accused before the media at Nirmal, outgoing SP Dr Tarun Joshi said the police set up special teams to nab the accused in the murder of five members of a family.

The accused were absconding after committing the crime that took place on May 10. The arrested people were identified as Jahed Khan, 30, and Nurullah Khan, 57, who are the prime accused in the murder.

The others are Asadullah, 50, Altaf khan, 25, Syed Vahed, 24, Syed Sajid, 22, Syed Majid, 20, Syed Sadik Ali, 65, and Sulthana Begum, 60, of Bhainsa town. One of the prime accused, Nurullah Khan, is a resident of Bhanswada of Nizamabad while the remaining accused are residents of Owaisinagar in Bhainsa town.

Deputy Supertindents of Police Ande Ramulu of Bhainsa and Manohar Reddy of Nirmal were also present at the media conference held to announce the arrests they had made.
