Hyderabad: A 35-year-old man was beaten to death near his mother’s house early on Tuesday in Chandrayangutta. The killers escaped in their vehicles after attacking Taher Khan and making sure that he was dead. Police suspect previous enmity led to the murder. The killers have not been identified.
According to the police, Taher Khan, a resident of Bismillah colony, had gone to his mother's house in Ghouse Nagar on Monday night. After midnight, he went out saying that somebody had called him. He did not return till morning.
On Tuesday morning, locals found the body at a deserted place in Mohammed Nagar with head broken. Police suspect the attackers beat the victim and then threw a stone on his head. “We suspect the victim and the attackers were drunk. There must have been an argument which led to the murder. We are yet to identify the killers,” said inspector Y. Prakash Reddy of Chandrayangutta. The police booked a murder case.
