Biker killed after cement mixer truck hits motorcycle in Dundigal

Hyderabad: A 40-year-old man was killed when a cement mixer truck hit his motorcycle at Dundigal late on Monday night.

The deceased identified as Ramulu, a resident of Bachupally, was going towards Suraram, along with his cousin D. Maisaiah who was riding pillion. “When they reached Dundigal crossroads, a speeding cement mixer truck hit their motorcycle from behind. Due to the impact, Ramulu fell to the ground, sustained severe head injuries and died on the spot, the police said adding that Maisaiah escaped with minor injuries.

Police seized the vehicle and registered a case against the truck driver. Further investigation is under way.
