Shop demolished after owner sexually abused boy in Borabanda

Hyderabad: Tension prevailed in Borabanda in Hyderabad late on Thursday night as family members and relatives of a small boy, who was allegedly sexually abused by a shop owner, roughed up him and demolished his shop. Police had to rush in additional forces to control the situation.

According to reports, the boy had come to the shop run by the accused person to buy some snacks. Taking advantage of this, the accused dragged the boy into the shop, abused him sexually, and let him off.

The boy returned home and informed his parents. The word spread in the locality and along with his family members, relatives and a large number of locals, rushed to the accused’s shop, and caught him. They dragged him out of the shop and roughed him up. Further, they vandalised his shop.

Police rushed to the spot, controlled the crowd and detained the accused. A case has also been registered against the accused and further investigation is underway, the police said.
