Hyderabad: Kids who escaped from school traced

The children told the warden that they had a fight in the morning and wanted to go home, said the police.

Hyderabad: Three children who were admitted to the Model School for Deaf Children at Abdullapurmet were rescued from Koheda after they ran away from the hostel. The children told the warden that they had a fight in the morning and wanted to go home, said the police.

According to reports, Yashwanth, 15, Mahesh, 8, and Lokesh, 8, were all specially-abled. The children were staying at the hostel. Yashwanth, a resident of Uppal was a student of Class  V, while Mahesh and Lokesh were students of Class II.

On Wednesday morning, the trio had a fight over a petty issue. They did not inform anyone and left the hostel. Warden Ramesh who noticed the missing children alerted the Abdullapurmet police and lodged a missing complaint.

Abdullapurmet inspector M. Muni said, “After about an hour after the children went missing, the public saw Mahesh and Lokesh roaming on the streets at Koheda and informed the police who returned them to their parents.”
