Bengaluru: Woman tailor hangs herself
According to police, the woman and her husband were living in a rented house.
Bengaluru: A 30-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide at her residence in Jnanabharathi police station limits on Thursday.
The deceased has been identified as Faiziya, a native of Bihar, and a resident of Doddabasti. She was working as a tailor used to stitch vehicle seat covers for a living.
According to police, the woman and her husband were living in a rented house. Her husband uses to sell the seat covers she had stitched in the market.
On Thursday morning, Faiziya's husband left for the market to sell seat covers. But when he returned in the evening, he was shocked to find his wife hanging from the ceiling.
After the Jnanabharathi police got an alert they reached the spot and conducted a spot mahazar and shifted the body to Victoria Hospital for post mortem.
The police are yet to ascertain the cause that forced Faiziya to take the extreme step. They are awaiting post-mortem report.
