Bengaluru: Students try to steal petrol, burn down bikes

Bengaluru: In a freak incident, two foreign students, who were stealing petrol from a bike at a basement of a service apartment complex in Hennur, caused a fire as one of them threw a lit cigarette butt on the spilt petrol. The fire completely gutted the motorbike that they were stealing petrol from and damaged six other bikes in the parking lot.

The Hennur police have secured the two students – Wail Mansour, 22, a Sudanese, and Mustafa Mubarak, 22, a Bahraini. Mansour, a resident of R.T. Nagar, is pursuing an engineering course, while Mubarak, a resident of Hennur Bande, is a pharmacy student.
