Hyderabad: Accountant held taking Rs 20,000 bribe

Kumar had demanded the money from Dr Reddy to process his pension file, following which the pensioner lodged a complaint with the ACB.

Hyderabad: Senior accountant V. Sanjeev Kumar, working at the accounts section office of the Director of Public Health, was caught by the ACB while accepting a bribe of Rs 20,000.

Kumar was nabbed within the premises of the government office while taking a bribe from Dr Baddam Surender Reddy, a retired civil deputy surgeon. Kumar had demanded the money from Dr Reddy to process his pension file, following which the pensioner lodged a complaint with the ACB.
