Hyderabad: Police has exhumed the remains of 17-year-old Nasreen, who was killed by Nayeem three years ago, from Narsingi. Meanwhile SIT, which is probing Nayeem’s case, has arrested 38 persons and recovered Rs 143 crore of properties belonging to Nayeem and his aides.

Nasreen was working as a maid at Nayeem’s residence at Alkapuri. While Nayeem and the his associates were pre-paring for Ahela’s engagement a year ago, Nasreen had also refused to stay alone at home. She had also refused to do the jobs assigned to her.

When Nayeem didn’t allow her to accompany them to the function, Nasreen threatened to commit suicide. Angry with her threat, Nayeem beat her severely and forced her to consume sleeping pills and left for the function.

“After returning home, Nayeem and his other associates disposed the body in Manchirevula village under Narsingi,” stated SIT chief Mr Y. Nagi Reddy.

The land from where the skeletal remains were exhumed belongs to Mr Jyoti Kishan Lal.
