Rachakonda police arrests man in employment racket case
Realising that she had been cheated, she lodged a complaint.
Hyderabad: A person who cheated people offering them jobs claiming that he had contacts with Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao and IT minister K.T. Ramarao was arrested by Rachakonda police. The suspect, K. Sudhakar, 45, is a real estate broker-cum-TV mechanic. His five associates are absconding.
Police said K. Sudhakar, a resident of Meerpet, was a real estate broker in LB Nagar. A year ago, a woman came to his shop for repairing TV and she told him that she had two children and they were searching for jobs.
He told her that he knew some people who were close relatives of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao and if they approach them they can put in a word to the Chief Minister and IT minister K.T. Ramarao and arrange a government job for her sons. The woman fell into his trap and met one Hanumantha Rao whom Sudhakar introduced as a relative of the CM. Later, Hanumantha Rao, their four associates and Sudhakar lured the woman saying that her sons can get jobs easily and collected '9 lakh from her. But after collecting the money he started avoiding her and stopped responding to her calls.
Realising that she had been cheated, she lodged a complaint. Police registered a cheating case and arrested Sudhakar and he was remanded. A hunt is on to nab the others. Police said they are checking Sudhakar background to find if he had been involved in any other crimes.
