Elderly Man Dies After Accidentally Consuming Chemical Substance

Kurnool: An elderly man from Ayyaluru village, identified as Bala Hussain, 69, has passed away after accidentally consuming dung colour, a chemical substance commonly used for sprinkling green water in front of houses.

The incident occurred when Hussain, who was reportedly facing health issues, mistook the chemical substance for something else and ingested it. He immediately felt unwell and lost consciousness.

His family members rushed him to Nandyal Hospital for treatment, but unfortunately, he succumbed to the effects of the substance late on Tuesday.

The Nandyal Rural Police have registered a case in connection with the incident.
