Telangana: Education department official booked for cheating

Hyderabad: The Trimulgherry police registered a cheating case against education department additional joint director G. Gopal Reddy after private school teacher G. Urmila, 45, complained that he had cheated her after promising marriage. Ms Urmila said she and Gopal Reddy fell in love about 10 year ago. Both were married at that time. She claimed that Gopal Reddy promised to divorce his wife and marry her. She claimed she shifted to the city from Delhi, leaving behind her family.
She said she recently purchased a flat. She claimed she came to know recently that he was having affairs with other women and alleged that he had been suspended for graft and was accused in a murder case. She claimed he had attempted to kill her.
