Chennithala demands more transparency
Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala has demanded that the police should reveal details of Jisha murder investigation as several conflicting stories are coming out. He told reporters here that normally the police keep the public informed of the developments. But unfortunately ever since the arrest of the suspect conflicting reports were coming out with some of them, not in accordance of the real incident.
He said it was the responsibility of the government and the investigating officers to reveal the details without affecting the course of the investigation. “It is when the authorities are shying away from disclosing the details media come out with conflicting reports. People are worried whether the probe is being conducted in the right manner due to various allegations being raised by various quarters”, he said. He also claimed that the evidence collected by the previous special probe team have come to the aid of the current team.
