Youth cuts woman’s throat

Kakinada: A 25-year-old youth P. Naga Sai Kumar cut the throat of a 38-year-old married woman as the latter refused to give him ₹3,000.

According to Two Town circle inspector P. Ramachandra Rao, the woman, a tailor by profession, has one married daughter and a son. She had got separated from her husband long ago.

The youth Saikumar became acquainted with her and frequented her house. On Tuesday, he went to her house and demanded ₹3,000. When she refused, he attacked her with a blade, cut her throat and fled.

The victim has been admitted to Kakinada Government General Hospital. Police have registered a case.
