Hyderabad: SHE teams book 46 for misbehaving with women

Hyderabad: SHE Teams booked as many as 46 men over the weekend for misbehaving, videographing and passing lewd comments against women during the Ganesh procession.

Among the 46 booked, 35 were caught red-handed and picked up on Sunday and the remaining 11 were apprehended over the weekend, police said, adding that they were also throwing flowers at girls in the crowd.

Additional commissioner and SHE Teams incharge Shikha Goel said, “Incidents of harassment were registered against nearly 35 men till Sunday evening. The hotspots were Tank Bund, NTR Gardens and the surrounding areas.”
