Hyderabad: Fake Doctor Held in Marredpally

Hyderabad: Hyderabad task force personnel arrested a fake doctor identified as Tuhin Kumar Mandal operating from a clinic under Marredpally police station jurisdiction in Secunderabad on Saturday.

Mandal, 30, a West Bengal native, had completed his Class X. In 2012, he migrated to Chittoor district in Andhra Pradesh and joined as an assistant to a doctor whom he observed treating piles patients.

In 2016 he came to Hyderabad and started a clinic and started treating patients for piles. Based on a tip-off, police arrested mandal and seized material from the clinic. Further investigation is under progress, the police said.
