Two Minors Among 4 Held For Stealing Laddu From Ganesh Pandal in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: Vanasthalipuram police of Rachakonda commissionerate in Hyderabad arrested four persons including two minors who tried to steal a laddu from a Ganesh pandal. Among the arrested accused are K Prudhvi Raju, 19 and B Mahesh,19 and the other two are minors.

Vanasthalipuram SHO D. Jalender Reddy said that on Friday midnight, the four persons came to a ganesh pandal at Mansoorabad area on a scooter. They entered the pandal and tried to steal the laddu.

Meanwhile, a person identified as Chandu, who was guarding the pandal, woke up and tried to catch them, but they sped away from the place. On a complaint from the organisers, police registered a case and based on the clues, police caught them Sunday.

Police urged all the ganesh pandal organisers to have persons to guard the pandals during nights.
