23-year-old woman hacked in Hyderabad in broad daylight

Passers-by caught the man and roughed him before handing him over to the police.

Hyderabad: A man hacked a 23-year-old woman, with whom he was having a relationship, in broad daylight at Erragadda on Monday evening. G. Subhash Kumar, an electrician, snatched a sickle from a coconut vendor and attacked her after an argument.

Passers-by caught the man and roughed him before handing him over to the police. The woman, Sravanthi, was rushed to hospital and her condition is said to be critical. On Monday, she went to Ravi Kumar’s house and picked up an argument with him and his family. 

They went out together to settle the issue. When they reached the Rythu Bazaar in Erragadda, they stopped to have coconut water when they began quarreling again.
