Three of Family Killed, Two Accused Surrender
Vijayawada: Three persons of a family were killed over a petty issue at Konanki village of Piduguralla mandal in Palnadu district late Wednesday night.
Piduguralla police identified the deceased as Ananth Naresh, 32, and his parents Ananth Samba Siva Rao, 63, and Ananth Adi Lakshmi, 60.
Six years ago, Ananth Naresh had divorced his first wife Boyyalasetti Priyanka hailing from Sattenapalli and married Domma Madhuri of Dammalapati village in Muppala mandal. Naresh eked out his livelihood by taking up farm work on his 15 acres’ land, with his wife too joined him in the work. The couple have a six-year-old boy Venu Gopal.
On Wednesday, Madhuri was suffering from stomach pain, she did not want to go for work and asked her husband to take her to a hospital. This led to a heated argument. That night, Madhuri called her brother Domma Srinivasa Rao and father Subba Rao about the development. They rushed to her house armed with a knife. While they were inquiring with Madhuri about the trouble in the presence of her in-laws Samba Siva Rao and Adi Lakshmi, Naresh caught hold of Madhuri’s neck and picked up a quarrel again.
Angered by this, Srinivasa Rao stabbed Naresh, Samba Siva Rao and Adi Lakshmi with the support of his father Subba Rao, resulting in their death.
Later, the two surrendered at the Muppala police station.
Police have booked a case and are investigating.
