Five Persons Including a Girl Died on Spot in Road Mishap

Hyderabad: A woman and an eight-year-old girl were among five people who were killed when two cars collided at Jakler village in Narayanpet district, Makthal police said on Sunday. The police suspect that the vehicles were speeding.

One car was proceeding to Raichur from Hyderabad and the car was coming to the city from Narayanpet.

The deceased were identified as Moula Ali, 45, Khaleel, 41, Rehana Begum, 55, of Karnataka and Prabthita Samal, 33 and her daughter Asmita Samal, 8, of Odisha. Prabitha's husband Deepak Samal, who works in the Indian Navy, was critically injured and shifted to Hyderabad.
