Bengaluru: Uber pervert arrested

Bengaluru: The Madivala cops moved swiftly to nab a 30-year-old Uber cab driver, who indulged in obscene behaviour with a woman passenger near HSR Layout 7th stage on Tuesday, sending shock waves through the city. The accused, Suresh, resident of Nandini Layout, was working for the private cab aggregator for the last one-and-a-half-months.

“We tracked Suresh’s mobile number and arrested him Thursday morning, under Section 504 of the IPC (Outraging a woman’s modesty),” said a police officer.  The complainant had alleged that the driver stopped the car several times in slow moving traffic and masturbated while the car was stationary.
