Hyderabad: Centre Task force team nabs notorious pickpocket, aide

The accused, along with recovered lot, were handed over to Afzalgunj Police.

Hyderabad: The Central Zone Task Force Team on Saturday apprehended a notorious ex-convict and and his accomplice involved in pickpocketing and recovered four smartphones worth Rs 1 lakh from them. 

The arrested were identified as Mohd Feroz alias Mota Feroz, 33, a resident of Uppuguda, and Raju, 22, resident of Dhoolpet, Hyderabad, the police said, adding that both were autorickshaw drivers. 

DCP, Commissioner’s Task Force, P. Radhakrishna Rao, said, “Feroz steals mobile phones and sell them to Raju. On Saturday, while Feroz was selling a stolen cellphone to Raju at Osmania Hospital old hate, the team apprehended them.”

The accused, along with recovered lot, were handed over to Afzalgunj Police.
