ANANTAPUR: In yet another twist in the four-year-long case related to the sensational murder of former minister Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy, Tulasamma, wife of accused number 5 Devireddy Shivashankar Reddy, filed a private case on Saturday seeking questioning of Vivekananda’s son-in-law and five others in the case.

Consequently, the Pulivendula court recorded the statement of Tulasamma, while admitting Vivekananda Reddy’s former personal assistant Krishna Reddy as one of the witnesses.

In her contention, Tulasamma has maintained that CBI’s investigation has been purely one-sided, ignoring the involvement of several key persons. She demanded that the CBI also question Vivekananda Reddy’s son-in-law N. Rajasekhar Reddy, brother-in-law Shivaprakash Reddy and four others for their role in the murder.

Tulasamma maintained that her husband Shivashankar Reddy is innocent and is not involved in the case. Yet he has been named as A-5.

Pulivendula court posted the next hearing of the case to April 15.
