Hyderabad: Inspector's brother arrested for attacking drivers

Hyderabad: A day after assistant motor vehicle inspector P. Swathi Goud was booked for alleged misbehaviour with a truck driver, her brother Sai Prasad was arrested by the LB Nagar police on Thursday. 

“Swathi had called her brother and attacked the drivers.” LB Nagar inspector P.  Kasi Reddy said.

Police found out that there were no bouncers involved in the scuffle. “It was her brother who beat up the lorry drivers,” the inspector said.

The incident happened on the midnight of May 20 at LB Nagar came into light when the victim along with other drivers lodged a complaint with the LB Nagar police. The incident was confirmed via CCTV footage.
