Two women arrested by Hyderabad police for abduction

Hyderabad: A week after an 8-year-old girl went missing, Tappachabutra police arrested two women from Bengaluru who had kidnapped the girl. A complaint was lodged at the Tappachabutra police station by her parents on May 17 that she was missing. On Saturday, police nabbed two women from Bengaluru who had the girl.

The girl, Ruqaya, was reported missing by her father, Mohammed Bin Abu Bakar Wahab, on June 17. He said that an unknown person lured Ruqaya with chocolates and took her along with him. Later, Mohammed Bin Abu Bakar Wahab registered a complaint at the Tappachabutra police station.

“Ruqaya was playing in front of her house at around 8 pm when an unknown person took her along to get her chocolate and did not return,” said Inspector Chandrashekar of Tappachabutra.

Police booked a case and started a search. During the investigation, the cops found the girl in Bengaluru with the two women who had kidnapped her and are bringing them to the city.
