Youth allegedly murdered over extramarital affair

Tirupati: Reports have emerged that a youngster has been killed at a private lodge in Kuppam of Chittoor district over suspected extramarital affair.

The incident caused a flutter in the town after two women delivered the body of the deceased Vinod Kumar, aged between 25–30, at his home in Gudi Kotturu village within Gudipalli mandal of Chittoor district.

According to information, Vinod, a heavy vehicle driver, left his house on Thursday at around 4 p.m. Two hours later, two women rushed Vinod to a private hospital, saying he was unwell. Doctors examined him and said he had already died. The women then delivered the body of the deceased at his house.

Based on a complaint lodged by the kin of the deceased, police have taken the two women into custody and launched an investigation.

Family members of Vinod suspect that the two women are involved in his death.

Police are examining whether an extramarital affair is the reason for Vinod's demise. His body has been shifted to the Area Hospital in Kuppam for post-mortem.
