5 Year Old Boy Rescued by Sanathnagar Police

Hyderabad: Sanathnagar police rescued five-year-old Shankar who was kidnapped from the Bharathnagar vegetable market on Friday. Based on a complaint given by mother, police initiated a search through the CCTV camera network and identified one Sajjapuram Penta Reddy taking away the boy. Police said he intended to engage Shankar in begging. The child’s mother had left him with her grandmother to collect water from a toilet.

Two BRS Activists Killed

Hyderabad: Two BRS activists were killed when their vehicle overturned in Aziznagar, Moinabad inspector Venkat Ranga said. The vehicle was carrying seven BRS activists to a political meeting in the city. Police said the vehicle was speeding when the accident took place. The victims were identified as driver Chettukindi Ramesh and a passenger, Boya Laxmaiah.
