Anantapur: Teacher ends life, husband blamed

A teacher at Balvikas School in Erramukkapalle committed suicide by consuming pesticide.

ANANTAPUR: A teacher at Balvikas School in Erramukkapalle committed suicide by consuming pesticide at Chinna Rangapuram in Pulivendula mandal in Kadapa district. In her suicide note, she blamed her husband, former municipal commissioner of Pulivendula, for cheating on her.

Police sources said K. Vijaya Lakshmi consumed the pesticide two days ago and was admitted to Tirupati hospital where she died late. Her parents accused her husband Surya Mohan. Mohan worked as manager at Mydukur municipal office and later transferred to Pulivendula. He was suspended after the Anti Corruption Bureau trapped him.
