Bengaluru: Gang of robbers held, gold worth Rs 10.5 lakh recovered

Bengaluru: The Girinagar police on Monday arrested five notorious robbers, including two women, and solved eight cases in the city. The police recovered 349 gm of gold worth Rs 10.47 lakh from them.
The accused were identified as Manjunath alias Gajendra alias Shiva, 27, Santosh alias Jeeva, 24, Ramesh alias Honna, 22, Girijamma, 38, Manjula alias Annu, 23, all residents of Mandya. The other two accused, Dhanendra and Rekha, are missing.

The police said that they threw notes on the floor and distracted people by pointing at the money.
