Chaitanyapuri police arrests Jerusalem Mathaiah in cheating case
The case was registered in 2006 for allegedly collecting money from youths by promising them jobs and cheating them.

Hyderabad: Jerusalem Mathaiah, one of the accused in cash-for-vote scam was arrested by the Chaitanyapuri police on Thursday in a cheating case. The case was registered in 2006 for allegedly collecting money from youths by promising them jobs and cheating them. Matthaiah was arrested and was out on bail.
Police said he was not attending the trial and was ignoring summons from the court. Following this, the XI Metropolitan Magistrate Court had issued a non-bailable warrant against Mathaiah. He was arrested and sent to the Charlapally prison on judicial remand, a police official said.
